Welcome to Fairhope Bay Dental where dentistry is done just a little bit differently. Located between Magnolia Springs and Fairhope, AL, we are eager to meet the needs of our patients in a warm and welcoming environment.
From the moment you walk in, you will be greeted by our energetic and friendly team, including our lovable therapy dog Cappie. You will feel right at home in the gentle and detailed hands of Dr. Avery who above all else lives to deliver his absolute best in clinical excellence, crafting beautiful dental solutions that stand the test of time.
While going through orthodontic treatment as a teen, Dr. Aaron Avery fell in love with dentistry and set his sights on becoming a dentist. After graduating from Kansas State University in his hometown of Manhattan, Kansas, he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2017.
Displaced from the Gulf by birth, Dr. Avery relocated to the warm weather and Southern hospitality of Lower Alabama in early 2018.
Dr. Avery is passionate about helping even the most anxious/phobic patients as well as those with considerable problems they may not know there is even a solution for. He has completed advanced training in the areas of cosmetics, sedation, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry. Dr. Avery prides himself on the detailed workmanship and extra attention he puts into his craft.
When he’s not in the office you may find Dr. Avery enjoying other passions, which include landscaping, turkey hunting, fishing, scuba diving, and long-distance running.
"I want to give 2 big thumbs up and a 5 star rating to Dr. Avery and his staff. A year ago Dr. Avery discovered that almost every tooth in my mouth was decayed at or below my gum line. What a shock! After discussion, we determined the decay was due to the chemo I have received over the last 10 years. Dr. Avery was amazing! He set a plan and we followed it throughout the last year. The plan included cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals. It was a lot I must admit. But he was caring, took his time, made sure that all treatments were done properly. His staff was also great! And his dog, Capps, who just seems to know when a patient needs him. Actually, I will miss seeing them so often. Again, I would recommend Fairhope Bay Dental to all."

"I am mortally afraid of the dentist and haven’t been to one in over 20 years. I had a tooth go really bad and needed it to be removed. I was crying by the time Dr. Avery came in the room. He asked me was I scared of him and the waterworks got stronger! He said scared people are his favorite people and that I would learn to love him. Needless to say, I don’t remember anything after that and I’m now pain-free! I have made a follow-up appointment with his office. There are other things I need to take care of I’m going to let him take care of it. His staff were so kind and wonderful. Oh, and there is Cappie!! He just wants to love you and let you know everything will be ok. Kisses from him did make it a little better."
